Community Development

Our entire goal through all our initiatives eventually is to transform the communities we work with. Time to time we conduct seminars, workshops and training not just on how to make products but also on social issues such as child marriage, child labour etc. Basic healthcare often suffers simply through ignorance. So we are running a free clinic for the community. We have employed 2 nurses and a doctor. While doctor visits once a week, our nurses are available round the clock. They directly work with the people there. Time to time we conduct medical camps in the villages and help them get required treatment.

Through the seminars we provide education on education in healthcare, hygiene, childcare and nutrition etc. It’s so rewarding to see many of the community members learning new artistic skills and becoming financially independent.
